Taupō’s largest provider of legal services, Le Pine & Co is delighted to announce that, as from 1 September 2015, Putaruru-based Barrister and Solicitor Tim Kinder will merge his practice with them and become a partner in the firm.
Mr Kinder is well-known professionally to many in Taupō and as an expert in Maori trusts, property law as well as rural businesses, he will enhance the skills of the expert specialist team at Le Pine & Co.
Mr Kinder says that there is an increasing need for specialist legal services in the South Waikato and, coupled with a developing strength in the agricultural and commercial sectors as well as growth in iwi enterprise, the merger with Le Pine & Co will address a demand that had seen clients seeking specialist advice from outside Putaruru.
“Like me, the partners and solicitors at Le Pine & Co have an empathy with people who work in rural and provincial New Zealand,” Mr Kinder says.
“My years of dealing with Le Pine & Co have demonstrated that they provide legal services to a very high standard which gives me great confidence going forward. They’re a well-established practice, their team is solution focused and being members of NZ LAW, an independent association of 61 law firms throughout New Zealand, they have additional strength,” he says.
Mr Kinder says that as with any small firm, there is a need for succession planning and while any thought of retirement is some distance away, he believes the time is right to merge his practice.
Le Pine & Co has enormous experience in resource management law, commercial and business law, estates and family trusts, relationship property, iwi entities, employment law, occupational safety and health, as well as property and conveyancing and property management.
Initially the partners and solicitors of Le Pine & Co will work in Putaruru with Mr Kinder, the new firm being known as Tim Kinder Lawyer and Notary Public, a division of Le Pine & Co.
