Courtney Robertson

Qualifications

Courtney obtained a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from Victoria University of Wellington in 2009.

Background

Courtney grew up on her parents’ dairy farm in Galatea. She attended boarding school in Hamilton before studying at Victoria University in Wellington.

Prior to joining Le Pine & Co, Courtney worked in Hamilton for several years practising in a wide range of private client work areas. These included estates, asset planning and relationship property. In 2017, she returned to a local firm in Taupo, specialising in relationship property, spousal maintenance, trusts, elder law and general asset planning matters.

Work areas

Courtney specialises in the areas of relationship property including disputes and claims against estates and trusts. Courtney also advises couples on relationship property agreements, at the commencement of a relationship and at separation. She also specialises in applications for the appointment of property managers and welfare guardians, and general asset planning advice.

Building relationships with clients, having a practical approach to legal matters, and achieving the most commercially appropriate solutions is what drives Courtney. She loves helping people and achieving favourable results in what are often difficult and emotional situations.

Interests

Courtney enjoys baking, going to the gym and spending time with her young family.
