Daniel has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (majoring in geography and environmental management) from the University of Otago, graduating in 2016. Daniel was admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in the same year.
From the South Island, Daniel grew up in Nelson and attended Nelson Boys College before venturing down to Dunedin to study at the University of Otago from 2011 to 2015. Following graduation Daniel had intended travelling north to work in Auckland, but decided that a more balanced lifestyle and a greater exposure to all areas of law had more appeal and accepted the role with Le Pine & Co which brought him to Taupō.
Daniel works in criminal and civil litigation with supervising senior solicitor, Louise Foley, and is involved in many other aspects of law from Wills, family law to conveyancing.
What he enjoys about the work:
Daniel enjoys the different challenges that come from working in multiple areas of law, and the opportunity this gives him to craft his own style while learning from the many highly skilled lawyers at Le Pine & Co.
