Thomas holds an LLB and BCom minor graduate along with a BSc majoring in Land Planning and Development and was admitted to the bar in 2016.
Started his career
Thomas spent time in Taupō during university holidays as a voluntary law clerk and was given first-hand experience on the procedures surrounding trusts and wills and conveyancing. He then went on to work at a firm in New Plymouth before joining the team at Le Pine & Co.
Arrived in Taupō
After living in New Plymouth for a couple of years, Thomas has recently returned home to the Waikato where his parents own a farm.
What does he enjoy about his work?
Thomas has a strong interest in both commercial and property law having built extensive knowledge and interest in land planning and development through both science degree and the law degree studies. He has an absolute commitment to the achievement of excellence in all undertakings, with a strong ability to research and analyse with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Things that capture his imagination
Outside of work Thomas is a sporty chap with interests in tennis, golf, running, rugby, diving, rowing, fishing, music, snow and water skiing. He is also a marathon runner, finishing the Bayleys Mountain to Surf Marathon in 3:14:04. Thomas is also the proud owner of a Gold, Silver and Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award.
