Louise holds a Law degree (LLB) and a Commerce degree (BCA) in Management and Marketing both obtained from Victoria University, graduating in 1997.
Louise is proudly a local girl having completed all of her schooling from kindergarten to college in Taupō. Louise left Taupō to attend Victoria University in Wellington. She completed her last semester of Law School at the Californian School of Law in San Diego. After travelling extensively in South and North America she returned to work in Wellington before returning to Taupō in 1999.
After finishing her Law & Management degrees, Louise worked at Parliament in the Select Committee Office. There she learnt much about the making of Laws and the working of Politicians and Parliament. Louise started with Le Pine & Co in November 1999. Since then, Louise has appeared extensively in the Employment Relations Authority, the District Court and High Court, including a successful appeal in the Court of Appeal.
Louise’s areas of practice are Employment Law and court work in the civil (contract disputes, claims for money) and criminal jurisdictions.
Louise enjoys helping her clients through a system which can at times seem daunting and mysterious. She enjoys the art of persuasion and considers she can relate well to people from all walks of life.
Outside of law
Although Louise thinks it sounds incredibly boring, she lists her interests as spending time with family, reading and going to the gym. As a mother, she has little time for much else, but loves her busy and productive lifestyle.
